Digg a topic? What's that mean?

It's a site that helps us get big.

Alright. So pretty much just put a topic on that site, and when people see it, they come here?

What it does is helps us get other users from digg.com (posted updates and news from the web) to view our content.

I've experienced with digg, for my websites for many years. Let me guide you in short words.

Digg is where you can digg any of articles, for instance if you find some topic around on here that you think it's very interesting, and then you like the topic "digg" considering "like". Clicking digg will let you submit the article about a topic, and then if any of other people agree with you about the topic is absolutely interesting, and then others will digg your article. The more votes (dig) will bring the topic into a top numbers of article, and then it'll increase major traffics to here, which this means more users and help this site to get bigger every day.

For example - Digg - Gamethinker.com - Free xbox 360 giveaway.

Giving xbox 360 topic is interesting where you can easily get a free xbox 360? You like about that topic? Then you visit the link and then dig it (vote)!

This require you to register at digg.com to do so, and it's a highly recommend to do so. It's a useful resources.
