hi, an ongoing pain of a problem.... a while ago my pc used to play any games no prob e.g sims 2 WOW ect... but got virus...ended up getting new 250gb hdd and installing windows xp with SP3, then everything fine until play certain games(more higher end games) like sims2 and WOW as example so game loads up no probs, all intro scenes play no probs, but when you actually click to start the actual game it re-boots comp...have tried disabling auto-restart so can get error code, but just get blue screen... but games like age of empires 3 work no probs...?? so tried on my old hdd same result...tried a different windows xp on both hdd same thing....then went brought new graphics card... ati sapphire x1650 pro 512mb agp x8..... still same problem???? on both hdd which leaves me stumped... my processor is only athalon 3200 but according to ati system check for games this just be easily enough to even play crysis on low spec.....so now completely stumped any help greatly appreciated....thanks.
