And please don't tell me it's "against the law" because it's not. I BOUGHT the game legally at Wal-Mart.
About three years back, I bought the Sims Unleashed. About a year later I lost the case to it with the installment code on it. I still have the discs, and it would be a waste of money to buy the game again. Please help! Easy ten points for the valid code. The installment code it the number you type in to get the game on your computer. It is written on the back of the cd case but i lost mine and got a new computer so i cannot install the game without the code. It should look something like this on the back of the case: ________________________________ | XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXX | |_______________________________| Please help! |

The only install code that will work is the one that was printed for your game - this code is *unique* for each copy of the game. That means that even if someone gives you their code, it won't work for you because it does not match the code it is checking against on the CD.

Check the EA support website. Many games will save your activation keys into an online account. If not, explain the situation to them and they may be able to find it or offer another solution.

It is not illegal it is impossible. A certain disk has a certain code and you are not able to install the game without your certain code. This happened to me and you have to go onto the ea website and email for customer help. They are able to give you a knew code within the day.
