downlad a game 4 ex. gunbound
itz only take him 2 hrz to download
mine is is like 11 hrz so yeah
i download itz over night u can tell xD

I would download Firefox, if youre not using it already. Then you might want to try some add-ons that say "Download booster" or something to that effect. Then check to see if you really are getting the internet connection speeds your ISP promised. You can check here:www.speedtest.net/

this is happening probably of one of the reasons stated below-
1. there r more AT&T users in ur area then his
2. ur hardware(LAN card or modem) if u r using broadband is outdated
3. ur driver for hardware needs to be updated
4. pinging is not proper in ur area(contact ISP for that)
for increasing downloading speed u can use download accelerators such as internet download manager(IDM) or DAP(download accelerator plus) for that it will surely help

ask AT&T for higher subscription like T1,T2 or E1.. then you'll have a highway in the internet... I have mine T1..

T1 -- you own a subscription line solo.
DSL -- you and your neighbors had a single subscription line (all of you).
