I use to have an Xbox 360 and halo 3 ..bundled with xbox live. I loved it, played it everyday. on it 24/7. It ended up getting sold. (not by me) about 3 months ago. I really miss it.
I'm also a computer gamer..but i don't have a good graphics card, so i wouldn't say hardcore or anything. I really like to hack things.and play online games from the computer...like if i did have an 8800 Ultra i'd buy halo 2 vista and play that with the 360 controller..or cod4...or gears of war 2 ..and stuff.......but i really don't know what to do...i have a perfect monitor to play games on..it's an HP 19" LCD ..just perfect. Haha. Well i need your opinion.

REASON: Great graphics card that can play basically every game on the market with fairly high settings.

If you wanna play JUST HALO 3, get an XBOX 260. U can only play Halo 2 on windows vista

I'd go with the video card, but probably a 9 series or GTX if you can. Not only can you play games, you can watch movies. But wait! you say, I can watch HD movies on my XBOX 360! True, true, but also true is the fact that that is HD-DVD, not Blu-Ray, which you CAN get in a pc. Besides which, you can do more on a pc (unless you go all Ben Heck on the 360 - google him if you want more info on this amazing modder).

I'd say the graphics card, but I'd go for the 9800 GTX+ if I were you.

The only advantage of the 8800 Ultra is the added RAM, but with a 19" monitor, you don't really need the higher resolutions for a monitor of that size. So instead, I'd focus on the cores instead, and the GTX+'s core is superior to that of the 8800 Ultra. Did I also mention it's 55nm instead of 65?
